This January, Educate!’s Kenya Program Director, Diana Mwai, helped chair the “Ministerial Exchange session” at the 2020 Education World Forum in Oxford –  joining the largest gathering of education and skills ministers in the world. Diana leads Educate!’s programming and government engagement strategy in Kenya, bringing diverse experience and a unique perspective to this interactive panel.

The goal of this session was to create space for a meaningful, global discussion around best practices in education by learning from solutions that have been found to be both successful and impactful. The panel analyzed what it takes to transform education in today's increasingly complex and ever-evolving world, while exploring the importance of achieving a collective vision for it.

Participating in the forum for the second year in a row, Diana facilitated an engaging discussion and participants and attendees explored how the education sector can learn from successful solutions, while acknowledging that sometimes the greatest innovations can emerge from the most unexpected places.
